The idea of PDF Dance Theatre as a mock-company started in Barcelona in 2018. This concept transforms the dance industry by merging creativity with critical thought. Originating as a challenge to the industry's norms, it has developed into a vibrant, international community that values self-expression and the human experience.
Our young, self-funded group is known for its high-quality, boundary-pushing performances that bring together artists from varied backgrounds. Prioritizing non-hierarchical collaboration, mental and physical well-being, inclusivity, and kindness, we are crafting a new vision for the dance world—one that reflects what artists and audiences truly desire.
